The Gift of Spring: New Work at Goose Creek Studio

This week's blog title actually has two meanings although it was not originally planned that way.  Today Mary Anne and myself hung new work at Goose Creek Studio for the Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge.  The new paintings on display all have a spring theme.

The second meaning comes from the weather forecast as this entire week will have temperatures 20 degrees above normal to make it feel more like May than March.  Second Friday is this week, March 12, so it will be a pleasant evening to explore the galleries, restaurants and shops in downtown Bedford.  Consider this your invitation.

My painting on display is aptly titled "Mirage.  Spring may be just a "mirage" this week but it will be no less enjoyable.
