A Sense of Blue
by Judith Flynn Lochbrunner
22 x 28 inches
Today is also the day before the Lynchburg Art Festival at EC Glass High School (September 17) , from 10 AM- 4 PM.
This painting is another studio work composed of layers of acrylic, watercolor, acrylic, gouache and finally more acrylic. If you look closely at the edges of the blue shapes the colors of the previous layers are visible. It has been an exciting time in the studio using the unique qualities of each of these water media paints. More mixed media paintings are on the work table.
Consider this your invitation to stop by my booth if you are in the area. I'd love to show you all these details in person.
Thank you for keeping up with my blog and with this challenge.
