Day 26 - 30 Paintings in 30 Days More or Less

Today is the twenty-sixth day of Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge

What a View
by Judith F Lochbrunner
mixed media on painted paper
6 x 6 inches

This work is another in my abstracted landscape series.   We are so fortunate to live near the Blue Ridge Parkway and to easily drive to many of the views.   Paintings posted on Day 15 and Day 17 are more realistic views seen off the parkway.

This abstracted landscape still has the mountains in the background, the fields in the valley and if you look carefully in the lower right corner, blue circles that represent the wildflowers growing at the top of the overlook.  It is just a little "different".

September is quickly coming to an end.  Thank you for stopping by my blog to check on the challenge.
